Genetic issues of fibroids

Genetic issues of fibroids

In life, if you are sick, you have to see a doctor and take medicine. This is a truth known to all of us, young and old. No matter when, we all hope to have a healthy body. For fibroid patients, the most important thing is to know the cause of the disease so that they can better treat it. Let’s take a look at the genetic problems of fibroids.

Let's first look at the causes of fibroids. Medical science believes that the occurrence of such diseases is related to spleen and lung dysfunction. In the metabolism of water, the lung qi fails to spread and descend, the spleen qi fails to transport and transform, the phlegm and dampness evil accumulate in the meridians, the meridian qi stagnates, the Ying and Wei are out of harmony, the phlegm and dampness accumulate for a long time and form nuclei, which appear on the skin surface and cause subcutaneous tumors.

Western medicine believes that the cause of fibroids is still unclear, and may be related to trauma, hormones and genetic factors. Fibromatosis is a fibrous tissue tumor that originates from muscles, aponeurosis, and fascia and is rich in collagen. The pathological formation is benign or low-grade malignant. However, the tumor has no capsule, grows in an invasive manner, and has obvious malignant biological behavior, that is, stubborn and repeated recurrence, but rarely distant metastasis. The recurrence rate is 25-57%. The recurrence time is mostly 1 month to 1 year after surgery, and can even reach more than 10 years, so this type of tumor is also called invasive fibromatosis. Multiple recurrences can cause the lesions to involve a wider range, and uncontrollable growth will occur, invading important organs and endangering life.

It can be seen from this that fibroids may be hereditary, so the most important thing is to actively prevent them in our daily lives. This requires people to always improve their health awareness, learn more about medical knowledge, actively participate in physical exercise, improve the body's resistance, pay attention to nutritional supplements, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, do not smoke and drink, and do not eat spicy and greasy foods. These are all very important.

Patients with fibroids should also go to large hospitals for examination and treatment in time. Although this disease does not affect life, it does affect the patient's absorption of nutrients. Specialists can perform B-ultrasound examinations and make symptomatic treatments based on the size of the patient's fibroids and the patient's physical signs.
