Is lung cancer contagious? Tumor treatment experts point out that lung cancer is not contagious. However, lung cancer can spread. Lung cancer can spread not only locally, but also to nearby tissues. For example, the outer space of the lung (costal septum), the pericardium, and may spread to more distant parts, such as lymph glands, liver, bones, brain, and the other half of the lung. Lung cancer may also spread to the adrenal glands, which are located above the kidneys and can produce hormones. Lung cancer may also spread to the spinal cord and vertebrae nearby.

Therefore, cancer treatment experts remind that if you feel that you have early symptoms of lung cancer, you should go to a regular hospital for examination and medical treatment as soon as possible to achieve early detection and early treatment to avoid delaying the disease.
