What does it mean when the pain in late-stage myeloma stops? It means there is no need for treatment

Myeloma is a persistent pain in the spine, and if it is not treated in time, the patient's body will be more affected. Patients with this disease are prone to paraplegia and nerve root compression. Generally, there is progressive anemia and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate increases significantly. If the pain stops in the late stage of myeloma, it means that the disease does not need to be treated. It is recommended that patients maintain a good mood.

Myeloma is a persistent spinal pain that progressively worsens. In multiple cases, the pain range is very wide. About 40% to 50% of patients are accompanied by pathological fractures. Paraplegia and nerve root compression symptoms are prone to occur. Generally, there is progressive anemia and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate increases significantly. Some patients have increased serum calcium, often accompanied by secondary hyperparathyroidism.
Systemic symptoms: The general symptoms of myeloma are the same as those of other cancer patients, mainly manifested as decreased appetite, weight loss, fever, etc.
Once myeloma is diagnosed, surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the conventional treatments used to restore health. However, cancer experts say that we should not have too high expectations for surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. This is because surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy only kill tumor cells but cannot destroy tumor blood vessels, leaving a "root cause" for rapid recurrence and metastasis of tumors, which is exactly the gap in current clinical treatment.
Biological immunotherapy is an emerging tumor treatment model with significant efficacy, and is a new type of autoimmune anti-cancer treatment method. DC-CIK biological immunotherapy refers to mobilizing the body's immunity and enhancing anti-cancer ability by mobilizing the body's defense mechanism or with the help of biological agents. Secondly, DC-CIK biological immunotherapy is widely used to kill tumors, which can effectively and thoroughly eliminate cancer cells in the body, thus preventing the subsequent phenomenon of recurrence and metastasis of patients. It can also improve the quality of life of myeloma patients and prolong the survival time of patients in the middle and late stages.
