What are the symptoms of advanced liver cancer? These two symptoms will appear

When liver cancer develops to the late stage, various symptoms will appear. Liver failure and pain in the liver area will be more obvious. Many patients with late-stage liver cancer will experience cancer metastasis. Let's take a closer look at the symptoms and survival time of late-stage liver cancer.

1. Symptoms of advanced liver cancer
1. Symptoms in the liver. The most obvious symptom of patients with advanced liver cancer is pain in the liver area. There will be intermittent or persistent dull pain, dull pain, tingling and other symptoms in the upper abdomen or right upper abdomen. Lumps will appear in the liver area, and there will be a feeling of distension and pain. Symptoms will also appear in the digestive tract, such as upper abdominal distension, poor digestive function, and abdominal discomfort. Patients with advanced liver cancer will feel general fatigue, not active, and do not want to eat. Advanced patients will have symptoms of liver failure, ascites, abnormal liver function, and obstruction of the hepatic duct. Liver cell necrosis may cause more obvious symptoms such as jaundice. Therefore, the skin color of advanced patients is generally yellower, which is caused by jaundice.

2. Symptoms caused by liver cancer metastasis. If metastasis occurs in different parts of the body, corresponding symptoms will be manifested. Brain metastasis will cause increased intracranial pressure, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, etc. Bone metastasis will cause bone pain or pathological fractures, and lung metastasis may cause hemoptysis. Metastasis to the abdominal cavity will cause abdominal distension and pain, indigestion, and complete inability to eat. If the tumor compresses the portal vein, it will cause gastrointestinal bleeding, varicose veins around the esophagus and gastric fundus, etc. The tumor may rupture and cause bleeding in the abdominal cavity.

2. Survival time of advanced liver cancer <br/>How long patients with advanced liver cancer can survive depends mainly on the patient's physical signs and the treatment methods adopted. If the treatment is not in place or the patient resists treatment, it will be very disadvantageous to the patient. In the advanced stage of liver cancer, the general survival period may be about half a year to a year. If multiple metastases occur in the advanced stage of liver cancer, such as extensive metastasis to the abdominal cavity, intracranial cavity, lungs, bones, etc., the survival time may be shorter, possibly 3 months. In this case, only intravenous nutrition can be maintained, which may extend the survival period a little.
