Can a 1 cm small liver cancer be cured? It is best to treat it as soon as possible

Small liver cancer is also called subclinical liver cancer or early liver cancer. There are no obvious clinical symptoms and signs of liver cancer. Small liver cancer generally refers to liver cancer in which the maximum diameter of a single cancer nodule in hepatocellular carcinoma does not exceed 3 cm or the sum of the diameters of two cancer nodules does not exceed 3 cm. Patients often have no clinical symptoms. Tumor nodules are mostly spherical, with clear boundaries, uniform cross-sections, and no bleeding or necrosis. The standard for small liver cancer in my country is: the maximum diameter of a single cancer nodule does not exceed 3 cm; the number of multiple cancer nodules does not exceed two, and the sum of their maximum diameters should be less than 3 cm.

Experts say that there is no absolute standard for the cure rate of early liver cancer. It mainly depends on the degree of deterioration of the patient's condition, psychological factors, treatment methods and physical fitness, etc. These factors can affect the treatment effect and survival time of liver cancer patients. Of course, if a reasonable and effective treatment plan is adopted in the early stage, the possibility of long-term survival of early liver cancer patients is still very high. Therefore, early liver cancer patients should actively cooperate with the treatment, so as to achieve the ideal effect and get rid of the disease as soon as possible.
The early cure rate of liver cancer depends on the choice of treatment method. The choice of treatment method is the decisive factor affecting the early cure rate of liver cancer patients. Currently in the world of medicine, the treatment methods for liver cancer mainly include surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biological immunotherapy. The specific treatment method used depends on the patient's own physical fitness and the medical and technical conditions of the hospital. Only by using the correct treatment method can the treatment goal be achieved.
Surgical treatment of liver cancer: Surgery is often the first choice for liver cancer treatment. The cure rate of surgical resection in the early stage of liver cancer is higher. The scope of surgical resection is determined according to the size of the tumor and the degree of erosion. Generally, the liver resection does not exceed 70% in patients with normal liver function and does not exceed 50% in patients with moderate cirrhosis; or only the left half of the liver is resected, and no liver lobectomy is performed for patients with severe cirrhosis.
