I believe that many of you have heard of lung cancer, or your friends have cases of this disease. Lung cancer is a very common tumor disease, which causes great disasters to patients' daily life and work. This disease is difficult to cure clinically, so it is also a disease that many experts are troubled by. So what are the physical manifestations of lung cancer in the early stage? 1. Endocrine metabolic disorders: Also called ectopic endocrine, cancer cells can secrete a variety of hormones: (1) Adrenal cortex hormones: manifested as Cushing's syndrome, obesity, fatigue, lethargy, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, buffalo hump, skin purpura, patterns, full moon face. Lung cancer patients with such manifestations generally have a short course of disease and die quickly. (2) Antidiuretic hormone: manifested as fatigue, anorexia, lethargy, hyponatremia, muscle weakness, severe mental confusion, etc. (3) Thyroid stimulating hormone: manifested as hyperthyroidism symptoms such as polyphagia, frequent bowel movements, weight loss, irritability, nervousness, fast heart rate, exophthalmos, etc. (4) Parathyroid hormone: manifested as calcium and phosphorus metabolism disorders, such as tachycardia, arrhythmia, anorexia, fatigue, lethargy. 2. Skin connective tissue disease: manifested as skin pruritus, generally with obvious itching in the lower limbs and pigmentation, which may be combined with polymorphic eczema, hirsutism, skin mottling, and dermatitis. 3. Nervous system: (1) Myasthenia gravis: weakness of the masseter and limb muscles, and in severe cases, weakness of the respiratory muscles. (2) Radiculitis: manifested by sensory disturbances, ataxia, loss of knee reflexes, and myalgia. The lower limbs are usually affected first and then gradually move upward. (3) Peripheral neuritis: more common in small cell oatmeal carcinoma, with progressive paralysis and a glove-like or sock-like sensation. This cancer progresses rapidly and has a poor prognosis. (4) Lateral sclerosis: sensory disturbances, mental abnormalities, visual impairment, and speech disorders may occur. (5) Autonomic dysfunction: manifested by frequent bowel movements, rapid heart rate, and excessive sweating, among other autonomic dysfunction symptoms. 4. Psychotic changes: irritability, mania or depression, delusion, auditory hallucination, visual hallucination, etc. Male patients over 40 years old with a history of smoking, cough, and the above extrapulmonary manifestations must be paid attention to, and chest X-ray, lung CT or MRI examination can be taken to prevent missed diagnosis. The above four points are the four clinical manifestations of lung cancer patients introduced by experts. I hope that through the above introduction, everyone will have a preliminary understanding of this disease. After understanding the physical symptoms of lung cancer, everyone should do relevant preventive work in daily life and perform regular lung examinations to prevent the disease from invading our bodies. |
