How to treat early lung cancer? You can choose these treatments for early lung cancer

I believe that everyone has heard of lung cancer. Some people even get horrified when they hear about this disease. Because this disease has a great impact, it can threaten the patient's life. Therefore, it is necessary to do a good job in preventing lung cancer. So how to treat lung cancer in the early stage?

Once lung cancer is discovered, it should be diagnosed and staged in a timely manner to understand the location of the lesion, the pathological type of the tissue, the size, the receptor expression and gene mutation, the presence of regional lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis, so as to provide comprehensive and valuable information for the correct selection of lung cancer treatment methods. It is important to avoid blindly adopting inappropriate treatment methods or overly aggressive overtreatment methods after diagnosing a tumor without understanding the patient's overall condition and the early or late stage of the disease. This will not only fail to bring benefits to the patient, but will increase the patient's pain and burden.

Treatment of early non-small cell lung cancer The biggest feature of stage I lung cancer is that there is no lymph node metastasis and no distant organ metastasis. In addition to surgery, modern radiotherapy has a high cure rate, with a five-year survival rate of 80% to 90% after surgery. Failure is often due to inaccurate staging, that is, it is not a true stage I. The biggest staging feature of stage II lung cancer is that there is only hilar lymph node metastasis, but no vertical and horizontal lymph node metastasis, or the tumor has involved the chest wall, diaphragm, vertical and horizontal pleura, pericardium, or there is atelectasis of the whole lung or obstructive pneumonia, but there is no malignant pleural effusion or satellite nodules in the lungs, and there is no distant organ metastasis. Radiotherapy alone or surgery plus radiotherapy can completely remove the lesion.

Experts explain that if lung cancer patients can detect their disease in time and go to a large regular hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible, the disease can be stopped in its infancy. However, if lung cancer is already in the advanced stage, chemotherapy or surgery is needed in time.
