What foods promote bowel movements

Nowadays, people are under great pressure from work and study, which will make their bodies become abnormal, and they will frequently feel constipation in their gastrointestinal tract. In this case, they can only eat some foods that help with defecation to relieve it. In fact, the most common ones are fresh vegetables and some fruits, which can replenish water to their bodies.

What to eat to help defecation

1. Develop the habit of regular bowel movements, so that the body will form a conditioned reflex, and intestinal peristalsis will speed up and the incidence of constipation will be reduced.

2. Drinking an appropriate amount of water can play a diluting role. You can also add isomaltooligosaccharides to the water to make the intestines more powerful, which of course can also reduce the embarrassment of constipation.

3. Ban the drugs that cause constipation, such as sedatives like diazepam.

4. Avoid sitting for long periods of time and high mental concentration. Do more deep breathing, abdominal exercises, waist twists and leg bends, walking, running, Tai Chi and other exercises.

5. Massage: People who suffer from constipation can do self-massage every day to relieve constipation. Massage your abdomen in a clockwise direction 30 to 50 times every day before going to bed. This can promote intestinal peristalsis and facilitate defecation.

You can eat more fiber-rich foods in your daily diet, such as coarse flour, brown rice, corn, oats, and soybeans that are rich in wheat bran, cabbage, celery, leeks, radishes, sweet potatoes, sweet potatoes, sesame seeds, walnuts, donkey-hide gelatin, and fruits such as grapefruit, apples, and peaches, which can all help prevent and relieve constipation.

To relieve dry stools, you must first confirm whether it is pathological constipation. If the cause is ruled out, you must then make symptomatic adjustments in your daily diet and lifestyle. A reasonable diet should include: eating whole grains without being picky, reducing meat intake, and eating more fruits, vegetables and other foods rich in fiber; you should also drink some yogurt containing probiotics.

The crude fiber in long-fiber foods cannot be absorbed and forms residues in the intestines, which stimulate the intestinal wall, increase intestinal peristalsis, and make feces easier to excrete; eat more foods containing vitamin B1, such as coarse grains, wheat bran, beans, oats, lean meat and animal offal.
