What are the common symptoms of liver cancer? Two basic knowledge points about liver cancer

What are the symptoms of liver cancer? Some people often burp continuously after eating, thinking that this is caused by bloating. In fact, continuous burping may also be a sign of liver cancer. Let's learn more about it below.

1. Continuous hiccups may be caused by liver cancer. If you have continuous hiccups, don't take it lightly, it is likely to be caused by liver cancer. What is going on?

For many office workers, they usually have irregular diets and take advantage of their youth to not take it seriously. They rarely take care of their stomachs, which leads to the gradual decline of spleen, stomach and intestinal functions. It is even easier to ignore the phenomenon of hiccups, but in fact, the continuous hiccups that are serious and difficult to disappear on their own are likely to be caused by tumors that cause liver enlargement, irritating the diaphragm and causing diaphragm spasm.

In addition, patients with esophageal cancer, cardia cancer, and gastric cancer may also experience symptoms of continuous hiccups. The onset of liver cancer is insidious. In the early stages, only digestive tract symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, and bloating may occur. These symptoms are easily confused with stomach problems. Once typical clinical manifestations appear, it is usually in the middle or late stages, and the best time for treatment has been missed. Statistics show that about 37% of patients with liver disease mistakenly think they have stomach problems in the early stages of the disease and do not pay attention to them. This may eventually develop into liver cancer, thus missing the best time for treatment. In addition to digestive tract manifestations, there are some symptoms that patients need to pay attention to that may be liver cancer. The most common is pain in the liver area, mainly under the xiphoid process or in the right ribs, which worsens with breathing or acute abdomen.

In addition, if you always feel weak and lose weight, and have fever, nose, and gum bleeding, you should pay attention and go to the hospital for a check-up. Especially those with a history of hepatitis virus infection, cirrhosis, family history of liver cancer, history of blood transfusion, history of alcoholism and other high-risk groups for liver cancer should pay more attention. High-risk groups should undergo liver cancer screening.

2. Screening for liver cancer For the screening of liver cancer, the currently recognized screening indicators include: serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFp) and liver ultrasound. For high-risk groups, examinations are generally performed every 6 months. AFp is an embryonic antigen produced by immunoassays. It is one of the most specific methods for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma and is relatively specific for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma. Ultrasound examination can show the size, shape, location of the tumor, and the presence or absence of cancer thrombi in the hepatic vein or portal vein. The diagnostic compliance rate can reach 84%, and it can detect space-occupying lesions with a diameter of 2 cm. It is currently a non-invasive examination method with better positioning value.
