Symptoms of advanced prostate cancer

Symptoms of advanced prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a very serious disease for men. Although the incidence of this disease is not very high, the physical harm to the patient is very obvious. After the disease, the patient will have obvious urination difficulties, which will seriously affect the patient's work and life. Of course, the symptoms of patients with advanced prostate cancer will also be different.

(1) Urinary disorders: Prostate cancer is very common. In 80% of patients, prostate cancer lesions will cause dysuria, narrowing of the urethra, bifurcated urine stream, frequent urination, urgency, and pain. Severe patients may also experience urine droplets and urine retention. About 3% of patients have hematuria. Symptoms of late-stage prostate cancer patients are even more obvious. We cannot ignore this condition and should go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible to find the condition and treat it symptomatically.

(2) Pain: It is very common for prostate cancer patients to experience pain in the waist, hip, pelvis, and sciatic nerve. It is often unbearable. Due to the metastasis of the lesion, the condition becomes more serious, and even hydronephrosis and kidney infection may occur, which aggravates the pain. The pain of patients in the late stage will be even more serious. We cannot ignore this condition and must take treatment measures to relieve the pain as soon as possible.

(3) Metastasis symptoms: Metastasis is very common among prostate cancer patients. About two-thirds of patients will have lymph node metastasis when they first visit the doctor. It often occurs in the waist and groin, causing corresponding lymph node enlargement or lower limb swelling. If hematogenous metastasis occurs in the pelvis, lumbar spine, etc., it will affect the patient's symptoms and lead to renal failure. The severity of prostate cancer symptoms depends on the growth rate of cancer cells or whether it compresses the urethra. Many patients will show abnormal urination, and a few patients will have frequent urination and increased nocturia.

Most modern people are under the dual pressure of work and life. Prostate cancer is a relatively serious disease for men. More than 80% of prostate cancer patients will experience urination disorders, painful and frequent urination, urgency, etc., and metastasis will also occur. Therefore, patients must be treated as early as possible. The earlier the treatment, the better the effect.
