Earlobe bloodletting is a medical method with a wide range of applications in today's Chinese clinical medicine. It can alleviate many health problems of the human body and treat a variety of diseases. For example, common conjunctivitis, mumps, high fever and other diseases can all be treated through earlobe bloodletting. Next, I will introduce to you the specific effects of earlobe bloodletting! 1. Treatment of acute conjunctivitis (pink eye) If the disease is unilateral, the affected side is used; if the disease is bilateral, both sides are used. Use 75% alcohol cotton balls for routine disinfection of the area, use a three-edged needle or injection needle to aim at the ear tip point, rub and press with your left hand to make the area congested, hold the needle with your right hand and pierce quickly, wipe the needle hole with an alcohol cotton ball, and squeeze repeatedly with your left hand. Do this several times until the amount of bleeding reaches 3-5 drops. It can usually be cured after 1-3 times. Acute catarrhal conjunctivitis is mostly caused by exogenous epidemic pathogens, or combined with heat accumulation in the lungs and stomach, and the internal and external pathogens attack the eyes and cause the disease. "Lingshu Kouwen" says: "The ear is where the ancestral meridians gather." "Xizhuo on the Origin and Development of Miscellaneous Diseases" also says: "The lungs control qi, and the qi of the whole body passes through the ears." The Suwen, Zang-Guo Fate Theory also points out: "People with liver disease...are weak and cannot hear anything." This shows that the ear is closely connected with the internal organs and meridians of the whole body. If you have any diseases of your five sense organs, you can get satisfactory treatment by using the acupuncture points on the ear. 2. Treatment of mumps Disinfect the ear tip point, use a three-edged needle or injection needle to prick the ear tip point to cause bleeding, squeeze out 8-10 drops of blood, and then use a sterilized dry cotton ball to apply pressure to stop the bleeding. Do this once a day, and the parotid swelling will subside after 3-6 times. 3. Treatment of high fever This is a commonly used and effective indication for bloodletting at the ear tip. It is suitable for high fever caused by colds, pneumonia, and tonsillitis, especially when high fever persists after a few days of the above diseases. Bloodletting at the ear tip can quickly reduce fever, and sometimes one or two bloodlettings are enough (can be combined with Shixuan and Dazhui). 4. Treat acne Commonly known as acne, it is also called facial pimples, blackheads, and pimples. Chinese medicine calls it lung wind acne. Acne is a multifactorial disease, and its onset is mainly related to factors such as sex hormone levels, excessive secretion of sebaceous glands, proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes, abnormal keratinization of the sebaceous gland ducts of the hair follicles, and inflammation. It is common in adolescent males and females, with males slightly more likely to develop the disease than females, but females develop the disease earlier than males. The effect of bloodletting at the tip of the ear is also relatively good. Patients can give it a try. |
