Difference between abdominal color ultrasound and B-ultrasound

I believe everyone pays great attention to their physical health. When some adverse reactions occur in the body, they will go to the hospital in time to take some examination measures. Moreover, today's science and technology are very advanced. There are many examination technologies in the medical field. There are two types of abdominal examinations: abdominal color ultrasound and B-ultrasound. So what are the differences between abdominal color ultrasound and B-ultrasound? Let me introduce it in detail below.

There is no difference in the principles of color ultrasound and B-ultrasound, and both cannot check much. Color ultrasound is mainly used to check blood vessels, such as the heart, and the color is added by the computer according to the direction of blood flow.

At present, the development direction of B-ultrasound in the medical field is color ultrasound. Let's talk about the characteristics of color ultrasound:

Simply put, color ultrasound is high-definition black and white B-ultrasound plus color Doppler. First, let's talk about ultrasonic frequency shift diagnosis, namely D-ultrasound. This method uses the principle of Doppler effect. When there is relative motion between the sound source and the receiver (that is, the probe and the reflector), the frequency of the echo changes. This frequency change is called frequency shift. D-ultrasound includes pulse Doppler, continuous Doppler and color Doppler blood flow images.

However, the technology used in color ultrasound is pulse wave. When the speed of the detected object is too high, the color of the color flow will be wrong. It is obviously inferior to spectral Doppler in quantitative analysis. Nowadays, color Doppler ultrasound instruments all have the function of spectral Doppler, which is color-dual function ultrasound.

Color Doppler ultrasound blood flow map (CDF) is also called color Doppler ultrasound imaging (CDI). The source of echo information obtained by it is consistent with spectral Doppler. The distribution and direction of blood flow are displayed in two dimensions, and different speeds are distinguished by different colors. The duplex Doppler ultrasound system is a B-mode ultrasound image that shows the location of blood vessels. Doppler measures blood flow, and this combination of B-mode and Doppler systems can more accurately locate any specific blood vessel.
