Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that occurs in the cervix of the uterus. It can be divided into stages I, II, III and IV according to clinical staging. Stage Ia is the earliest stage of cervical cancer, and stage Ib is slightly later. After treatment, if the disease has not recurred for 5 years, it usually indicates a good prognosis. 1. Influencing factors 1. Pathological type: Generally speaking, the time from squamous intraepithelial lesions to carcinoma in situ to invasive cancer is the longest, followed by adenocarcinoma, and the shortest for Hodgkin lymphoma. Therefore, the survival time of patients with different pathological types of cervical cancer varies greatly. The earlier the discovery, diagnosis, and treatment, the better the effect. 2. Degree of differentiation: The higher the degree of differentiation of cervical cancer cells, the lower the malignancy, and the better the prognosis. On the contrary, if the degree of differentiation of cervical cancer cells is low, it means that the malignancy is high, which may affect the patient's survival time and prognosis. 3. Whether treatment is active: If standardized comprehensive treatment is not carried out in a timely manner, or if only local treatment such as radiotherapy is carried out without chemotherapy, it may lead to disease progression or metastasis, thereby reducing the patient's survival rate and quality of life. 4. Psychological state: Some cervical cancer patients will experience anxiety and fear after being diagnosed. Under the influence of such negative emotions, their own immune system function may be affected, and may even aggravate the condition, which is not conducive to recovery. 2. Treatment Methods 1. Surgical treatment: including extrafascial hysterectomy, modified radical hysterectomy and radical hysterectomy, which are suitable for most patients with cervical cancer. 2. Radiotherapy: For young patients who are not suitable for surgery, radiation can be used to eliminate the lesions. However, it should be noted that since cervical cancer is more sensitive to radiation, its application range is relatively wide. 3. Chemotherapy: mainly used for those who cannot be treated with radiation, and can also be used for advanced or recurrent cases. Commonly used drugs include cisplatin, carboplatin, paclitaxel, etc. In addition, Chinese medicine can also improve the efficacy of auxiliary treatment. Commonly used Chinese herbal medicine prescriptions include Da Huang Lian formula granules plus Pinellia prescription, etc. It is recommended that such patients have regular checkups, maintain a good attitude, and actively cooperate with doctors for follow-up treatment. |
