Intestinal cancer usually causes pain in three places

Bowel cancer refers to malignant tumors that occur in the colon or rectum. Pain is one of the common symptoms of bowel cancer patients, but the location and degree of pain may vary depending on individual differences and the location of the tumor. It may occur in the abdomen, rectum and anus, back pain, bone pain, sensory pain, etc.

1. Abdominal pain: Abdominal pain is one of the most common symptoms of colorectal cancer. The pain may occur in different parts of the abdomen, such as the right lower abdomen, left lower abdomen or the center of the abdomen. The nature of the pain may be dull pain, distending pain or stabbing pain.

2. Rectal and anal pain: If the colorectal cancer is located near the rectum or anus, rectal or anal pain may occur. The pain may be paroxysmal and worsen with bowel movements.

3. Back pain: In the late stage of intestinal cancer, it may spread to the retroperitoneum and stimulate the retroperitoneal nerves, causing back pain. This pain is usually persistent and may be accompanied by other symptoms such as nausea and vomiting.

4. Bone pain: In the late stage of colorectal cancer, the tumor may metastasize to the bones, causing bone pain. The pain may occur in different parts of the bones, such as the back, hip joints, ribs, etc.

5. Pain in the liver area: If intestinal cancer metastasizes to the liver, it may cause pain in the liver area. The pain may occur in the right upper abdomen, accompanied by other symptoms such as jaundice and loss of appetite.

If the pain persists or worsens, it is recommended to seek medical attention in time for relevant examinations and diagnosis, and to actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment. During the treatment period, you should pay attention to rest, ensure adequate sleep time, and avoid staying up late for a long time.
