Early symptoms and signs of prostate cancer

The early symptoms and precursors of prostate cancer are often hidden, generally including difficulty urinating, hematuria, body pain, swollen lymph nodes, sexual disorders, etc., which may vary from person to person.

1. Difficulty urinating: Prostate cancer may compress the bladder and urethra, leading to symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain during urination. As the disease progresses, difficulty urinating may gradually occur, such as a thinner urine stream and incomplete urination.

2. Hematuria: Some patients may find blood in their urine when urinating. Even a small amount of light red sticky substance or blood should be treated immediately, because hematuria is usually a sign of bladder, prostate, kidney tumors or kidney stones.

3. Body pain: Prostate cancer may cause pain in the lumbar region, buttocks and hips. The discomfort is generally severe, and there may also be pain during urination.

4. Swollen lymph nodes: In the early stages of the disease, the lymph nodes of some patients may be irritated and swollen, and may also be accompanied by symptoms of swelling in the lower limbs.

5. Sexual disorders: Prostate cancer may have a negative impact on erection or ejaculation, leading to symptoms such as difficulty in erection, painful erection, and abnormal ejaculation.

Similar symptoms may indicate prostate cancer. Further examinations such as prostate color ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and biopsy puncture should be performed to confirm the disease and prevent errors.
