What to do if the skin itches in the late stage of bladder cancer

If patients with advanced bladder cancer experience symptoms of systemic itching, the most common symptom is obstructive liver disease caused by liver metastasis. In addition, symptoms of uremia caused by kidney damage will also cause systemic itching. As long as it is systemic itching, it is a symptom of systemic disease and needs to be checked and diagnosed. The main reason for skin itching in tumor patients is the consumption of the body caused by the tumor, organ dysfunction, and local skin nutrition deficiency, which causes local skin dryness and skin damage. Bladder tumors in the body will cause itching symptoms.

What is the chance of bladder cancer recurring after surgery?

Partial cystectomy will only be considered if the patient is in poor health and cannot tolerate total bladder surgery, or if the patient has a strong desire to preserve the bladder. The recurrence rate will decrease after the patient undergoes radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and chemotherapy, and may recur in about 10%. Postoperative adjuvant therapy can prevent the recurrence of bladder cancer.

Is bladder cancer hereditary?

Don't worry too much about bladder cancer caused by your inheritance. There is no family history of bladder cancer. The cause of bladder cancer is not yet fully understood, but as long as you do a good job of prevention, there will not be too many problems. Develop good living habits, drink more warm water, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, exercise every morning and evening, and have a physical examination every year. Bladder cancer is not a hereditary disease.
