What are the causes of bladder cancer

Bladder cancer is a common malignant tumor in the urinary system. Once a patient is diagnosed with the disease, he or she will experience symptoms such as urinary urgency, frequent urination, urination discomfort, and hematuria. In severe cases, it can directly endanger the patient's life. Therefore, we should learn more about the cause of the disease in order to prevent it. So what are the causes of bladder cancer?

Although the causes of bladder cancer are still unclear, the following are recognized:

1. Long-term exposure to certain chemical substances, such as long-term exposure to certain aromatic substances such as rubber, paint, dyes and leather, may increase the risk of bladder cancer. Therefore, you should try to avoid contact in normal times.

2. Smoking. According to recent studies, long-term smoking can cause the metabolism of the carcinogen tryptophan in the urine to be 50% premature. When smoking stops, tryptophan can gradually return to normal. Therefore, in order to prevent the occurrence of this disease, smoking should be abstained in normal times.

3. Abnormal tryptophan metabolism in the body. Abnormal tryptophan will produce some metabolites, which will directly affect the normal synthesis of cells. When these metabolites are excreted into the bladder through the liver, it will easily lead to the formation of carcinogenic effects, which will easily cause bladder cancer.

4. The bladder mucosa is irritated for a long time. For example, if the patient has suffered from chronic infection, bladder stones, urinary tract obstruction and other diseases before, and fails to receive timely treatment, it will cause long-term irritation to the local mucosa in the bladder, thereby increasing the chance of cancer.

The above are the causes that may lead to bladder cancer. After everyone has a certain understanding of these causes, they should try their best to prevent them in daily life. However, if you already have this disease, you should diagnose and treat it in time, because only by seizing the best time for treatment can you achieve good results after treatment.
