How long can a benign lung cancer patient live?

Lung cancer is a malignant tumor, and there is no such thing as a benign tumor. After diagnosis, you can live for about 3 to 5 years. There is no specific time standard. It has a lot to do with your physical condition, the severity of the disease, and the treatment method.

1. Your physical condition: Lung cancer is a serious disease that has a great impact and harm on the body. If you are young, have good physical fitness and strong stress resistance, and receive proper treatment, your survival time will be extended; for older patients, their stress resistance will decrease, their physical fitness will deteriorate, and their survival time will be shortened.

2. Disease severity: After lung cancer is diagnosed, it is also necessary to observe the size of the lung cancer, whether it has metastasized, and the specific pathological nature. If the disease is relatively mild, it is in the early stage of the disease, and the survival time is about 5 years; if there is metastasis, it means that the disease is serious and has entered the middle and late stages, and the survival time will be shortened.

3. Treatment: Lung cancer is mainly treated by radical surgical resection. If surgical resection is performed in the early stage, the patient has a good prognosis, no lymph node and distant organ metastasis, and can survive for more than 5 years. If surgical resection is performed in the middle or late stage, the prognosis is poor, and most patients can survive for about 1-3 years.

How long you can live with lung cancer is also closely related to the subsequent care. You should pay attention to rest, adjust your diet structure, eat light food, maintain a good attitude, and actively cooperate with treatment.
