How long can you live with vomiting blood due to liver cancer?

Most patients in my country have hepatitis B virus infection, which leads to cirrhosis and liver cancer. Due to portal vein pressure, varicose veins may develop. Severe coughing, emotional excitement, and eating cold and irritating foods may cause esophageal vein rupture and bleeding, leading to vomiting, and sometimes death from massive bleeding symptoms. Liver cancer patients will not vomit or cough up blood under normal circumstances. Once patients vomit or cough up blood in the late stage of liver cancer, it indicates that liver cancer has metastasized locally or to other organs. Frequent vomiting may metastasize to the gastrointestinal tract or esophagus. Generally speaking, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer are the laws of the development of the disease.

Treating liver cancer recurrence?

In addition to upper gastrointestinal bleeding, advanced hepatocellular carcinoma also has symptoms such as splenomegaly, ascites, abdominal wall varicose veins, and systemic jaundice. TACE or radiofrequency ablation can be used for treatment, but the efficacy is poor, the disease progresses rapidly, and the prognosis is poor. If hepatocellular carcinoma recurs after surgery, it should be treated in time without delay. At present, the main treatments for postoperative recurrence are radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and biological therapy.
