Can lung cancer be detected early?

Lung cancer can be detected in its early stages. Since the early clinical symptoms of the disease are not particularly obvious, to detect the disease in time, you need to maintain good vigilance and conduct regular physical examinations, especially for risk factors such as smoking and drinking. If typical characteristics of early lung cancer are found through physical examination, other measures need to be selected for further diagnosis, such as chest CT examination, biopsy, autofluorescence bronchoscopy, etc.

1. Chest CT

When early signs of lung cancer are found, chest CT scans should be actively performed to further clarify the disease. This is a method with a high probability of clinical use, which can effectively understand the location and range of lesions and can also provide a reference for distinguishing benign from malignant.

2. Biopsy

Biopsy requires extracting lung cancer tissue through puncture and then carefully observing it under a microscope. If there is a disease, the pathogen can be found directly, and the accuracy rate is relatively high, but it will cause certain trauma during the inspection process.

3. Autofluorescence bronchoscopy

Autofluorescence bronchoscopy is of great value in the diagnosis of early lung cancer. During use, image acquisition is mainly used to improve the early detection rate of the disease.

Lung cancer can be detected in the early stage, but we should follow the doctor's advice when choosing the examination method. When the disease is clear, it is necessary to remove the cancerous changes through surgery. Keep enough rest time after surgery, maintain a relaxed emotional state, and have regular checkups.
