Is surgery necessary for brain cancer?

Is surgery necessary for brain cancer?

Brain tumors are intracranial tumors, which are generally divided into benign intracranial tumors and intracranial tumors according to different pathological properties. Brain tumors are usually treated with surgery, but in some cases, such as brainstem tumors, patients may have multiple, intracranial metastatic tumors. In this case, they cannot be completely surgically removed, and only palliative surgery can be considered, and no other treatments are needed. Intracranial malignant tumors, including gliomas, malignant meningiomas, germ cell tumors, etc., require surgical treatment in most cases. If they can be completely removed, the prognosis is good. If they cannot be completely removed, or highly malignant gliomas often recur after surgery, the prognosis is poor. Patients with brain cancer need to consider surgery, and after confirming brain cancer, active radiotherapy and chemotherapy are required.

Will an advanced brain tumor compress the heart?

Generally speaking, tumors may cause angina pectoris. When the tumor compresses local nerves and invades the heart, angina symptoms may occur. As the condition worsens, systemic pain will occur. If a brain tumor occurs, the disease may increase the risk of sudden death, and may also cause severe headaches and mental disorders. Late-stage brain tumors often cause headaches. Considering the increase in intracranial pressure, intravenous mannitol dehydration can relieve pain;

Will meningioma heal on its own?

If it is a meningioma, it is even less likely to heal on its own. The general treatment for meningioma is surgical treatment of choice. Relatively small tumors can be temporarily treated with medication, but the specific treatment method requires targeted surgery in combination with the clinical situation. Rheumatoid disease will have a certain impact on children's bodies. If symptomatic conditioning and treatment are not carried out in time, the longer the delay, the more serious the condition. Generally speaking, different children's brain tumors will have different symptoms, different treatments, and different prognoses. Considering the long location of benign brain tumors, benign children's brain tumors are easier to cure.
