Tumors can also often stimulate the diaphragm, causing hiccups, leading to lack of energy and nutritional deficiencies, which aggravate the condition of cancer patients.

2. Severe nausea and vomiting

Patients with advanced cancer often experience severe nausea and vomiting, which is a common symptom. It may be a side effect of treatment or it may be caused by cancer cells invading the digestive and nervous systems. This symptom is often more painful for patients than the pain of cancer.

3. Pain in the liver area

In advanced primary liver cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, normal tissues are damaged by tumors and invaded, causing compression and destruction of adjacent nerve roots, local tissue necrosis, obstruction of blood return, and infiltration of bones and periosteum, which can cause pain. Pain is a common symptom in patients with advanced liver cancer.
