Can you feel the implantation of your IVF baby?

When a couple is preparing to have a baby, they may not be able to get pregnant for a long time. When they go to the hospital for a check-up, they find that there are serious problems that prevent them from getting pregnant normally. To address this problem, the currently popular method is to do in vitro fertilization, which is to implant the fertilized egg formed by in vitro fertilization into the female's uterus. The fertilized egg will then implant in the uterus. So, do you feel anything when the fertilized egg implants?

Can you feel the implantation of your IVF baby?

Many friends are asking what it feels like after IVF implantation. The reason for this problem is that everyone wants to use this feeling to judge whether they have successfully implanted. In fact, this is not the case. Everyone's feelings and reactions to the implantation of the test tube baby are different, and there is no standard in the medical community to judge whether the implantation is successful. Therefore, don’t think that if you feel it, implantation has occurred, and if you don’t feel it, implantation has failed.

Due to different physical constitutions and environments, some friends will feel a pricking sensation after implantation, some friends will even have a pregnancy-like reaction directly and the reaction is severe, while some people feel nothing at all. Therefore, the answer to the question of what it feels like after IVF implantation varies from person to person. It is unscientific to try to determine whether implantation has occurred in this way.

If you want to know whether implantation is successful, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for testing after about half a month. This is the most accurate method. If you have any reactions or feelings during implantation, don't make a fuss. You must treat the entire period with a normal mind. I would also like to remind all my friends not to easily believe the implantation remedies on the Internet, and to eat a healthy diet according to the doctor's instructions. If any adverse reactions occur, please seek medical attention immediately.

It is normal for women to experience some mild discomfort after IVF transfer, and it is likely a sign of embryo implantation. So what are the specific feelings and symptoms?

1. Bleeding or cramps.

In the eight days following ovulation and implantation, light pink or brown staining may occur, and cramping may accompany this. There may be some spotting during the menstrual period, but this is not a true menstrual period. This is the result of a fertilized egg implanting in the uterine lining.

2. Feeling nauseous.

Some people begin to experience symptoms of morning sickness in the first few weeks after conception. Women may feel nauseous or vomiting, and the symptoms of nausea are not limited to the morning. Some people may feel nauseous all day and all night.

3. Feeling tired. The large amount of progesterone secretion can make women feel exhausted. Almost all pregnant women suffer from this symptom. Other symptoms can be observed to determine whether they are pregnant.

4. Going to the toilet frequently. After the fertilized egg implants in the uterine wall, it begins to secrete human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). This will stimulate frequent urination, so you will go to the toilet more often than before.

5. Breasts become softer.

If a woman's breasts feel tingling, tenderness and swelling, it means that she may be pregnant. This symptom may appear in the first few days after conception. As the woman's body adapts to the large amount of hormones, the pain will subside and the breasts will no longer feel uncomfortable.

6. Body temperature drops.

Generally, after IVF transplantation, if menstruation does not come on time and the basal body temperature remains above 37 degrees for more than three weeks, after excluding other fever conditions, the embryo may have implanted.
