What kind of pot is used for induction cooker

Nowadays, who doesn’t have an induction cooker at home? It can be used in an emergency when there is no gas in the gas tank. Many families even feel that gas tanks are difficult to clean, so they directly use induction cookers to cook, which is very convenient to clean and the cooking time is also relatively fast. However, not all pots can be used in induction cookers. So, what kind of pot is suitable for induction cookers?

The reason why we need to be careful in choosing the pot when using an induction cooker is that if the pot is not chosen properly, the radiation of the induction cooker will increase, which is not good for people's health. Generally, when choosing a pot, do not choose a pot made of ceramic, glass or other materials. You can refer to the following standards for specific pots used in induction cookers:

Although the induction cooker is simple and practical with no smoke, no exhaust gas and no open flame, the radiation it emits makes people somewhat wary when using it. The ideal cookware for induction cookers should be made mainly of iron and steel. Because this type of ferromagnetic material will match the heating load with the induced eddy current during the heating process, the energy conversion rate is high and the magnetic field leakage is relatively small. Ceramic pots, aluminum pots, etc. cannot achieve this effect and pose a greater threat to health.

No matter what kind of induction cooker you use, the material must be stainless steel or cast iron, or you can use enamel products (it is best to buy a special pot for induction cookers, which is of better quality and more resistant to high temperatures). In terms of shape, there are two types of pots for induction cookers. One type of induction cooker can only be used with a flat bottom; the other type can be used with both a flat bottom and a round bottom. Pay attention to it when buying. In addition, it is also important to note that the induction cooker has some requirements on the diameter of the bottom of the pot. It should not be too large or too small. The pot used in the induction cooker at home must have a minimum bottom diameter of ten centimeters and a maximum of twenty-six centimeters.

The pot containers suitable for induction cookers: iron pots (enamel, cast pots, stainless iron) pots, stainless steel pots, and composite bottom pots must be specially used for induction cookers. There is also a requirement that the diameter of the pot bottom is at least 8 cm, and it should be used according to different functions. For example, 1 cm is best for frying, stir-frying, baking, and deep-frying, while a flat bottom is best for steaming and boiling. When the minimum diameter of the pot is less than 8cm, the induction cooker cannot work. The most suitable cookware is a flat-bottomed 1026CM cookware, because the magnetic field distribution diameter of the heating coil is about 2226CM, and cookware in this magnetic field range is more suitable.

After knowing what kind of pot to use with the induction cooker, please be careful when using it and do not get too close to the induction cooker. It is best to stay within a safe distance, which is generally more than 20 cm. And after use, be sure to wait until the panel cools down before cleaning to avoid burns. In addition, it is not recommended that you use the induction cooker for a long time.
