Air conditioning heating principle

Air conditioning heating principle

Whether it is a cold winter or a hot summer, air conditioners will always come in handy, especially in winter. Many places do not have heating, and air conditioners can only be used as a way to keep warm. We usually only know that air conditioners can heat and cool, but have you ever understood the principle, especially the principle of air conditioning heating in winter? Let's take a look at the principle of air conditioning heating to increase everyone's knowledge.

Nowadays, air conditioners are an electrical appliance in every home. With air conditioners, we will feel very cool in the hot summer and feel especially warm in the cold winter, and we will forget the cold outside. But do you know the heating principle of air conditioners?

Composition of air conditioning system

The air-conditioning system is mainly divided into refrigerant system, water system and wind system. Among them, the wind system central air-conditioning is rarely used, so we will not explain it here. The composition of the refrigerant system central air-conditioning system: main unit + refrigerant pipe + branch pipe + condensate drainage pipe + indoor unit; the composition of the water system air-conditioning system: main unit + expansion water tank + circulating water pump + chilled water pipe (valve) + water filter + indoor unit + condensate drainage pipe. The heating principles of these two air conditioners are the same and should be very widespread at present.

Air conditioning heating principle:

⑴ It is very simple. When the air conditioner is heating, the gaseous Freon is pressurized by the compressor and becomes a high-temperature and high-pressure gas. It enters the heat exchanger of the indoor unit (the condenser at this time), condenses and liquefies, releases heat, and becomes a liquid. At the same time, it heats the indoor air, thereby achieving the ultimate goal of raising the indoor temperature.

⑵ The liquid Freon is decompressed by the throttling device and enters the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit (the evaporator at this time), where it evaporates and absorbs heat to become a gas. At the same time, it absorbs heat from the outdoor air (the outdoor air becomes colder). The Freon that has become a gas enters the compressor again to start the next cycle. It is based on the above process that air conditioning heating is achieved.

⑶ The compressor sucks in low-pressure gas and compresses it into high-temperature and high-pressure gas. The high-temperature gas raises the water temperature through the heat exchanger, and at the same time the high-temperature gas condenses into liquid. The liquid evaporates when it enters the evaporator. At the same time, there must be a heat exchange medium in the evaporator. The model and structure of the machine will be different depending on the heat exchange medium. Commonly used ones are air cooling and ground source.

(4) After passing through the evaporator, the liquid becomes low-pressure, low-temperature gas, which is then sucked into the compressor for compression again. As the cycle continues, the circulating water on the air conditioner side becomes hot water at about 45-55 degrees. Hot water is delivered to the room that needs heating through pipes. The room is equipped with fan coil units to exchange heat between hot water and air to achieve the purpose of heating.

The heating principle of air conditioning is actually very simple. People usually don’t know much about this aspect. Air conditioning is now a very common household appliance. Knowing more about the working principles of air conditioning can be used when we purchase air conditioners. When purchasing air conditioners, you should choose one with good brand effect and good quality.
