If people eat raw water chestnuts without paying attention, the ginger worm may enter the human body and live in the intestines. They will develop into adults by using the nutrients in the intestines, causing intestinal mucosal inflammation and endangering human health.

After ginger worms cause intestinal mucosal inflammation, abdominal pain or symptoms similar to ulcer disease, as well as chronic diarrhea, abdominal distension, loss of appetite, general fatigue, anemia and weight loss will occur, which is harmful to health, especially for children.
