How to prevent rice from getting infested with insects:

1. First, put the purchased food (rice, beans, etc.) in the freezer of the refrigerator and freeze it for four hours to kill the insect eggs. Take an empty plastic oil barrel, wash it and dry it. Put the frozen food (rice, beans, etc.) into the dry plastic oil barrel and cover it with a lid to prevent flying insects from entering.

2. Pour 50 grams of white wine into the bottle without covering it. Then bury the bottle in the rice with the mouth of the bottle higher than the surface of the rice and seal the rice bag. When packing rice, sew a few small pockets with gauze and put some peppercorns in them. Place them at the bottom, middle and upper parts of the rice respectively. 4. Putting a little kelp in rice can prevent the rice from becoming moldy. However, the kelp should be taken out every 10 days or so and then put into the rice after 10 minutes. One portion of kelp can be reused more than 20 times. It can not only inhibit mold but also prevent rice from being infested with insects.
