Pathways of blood circulation

The human blood circulation is a closed system and is usually divided into two pathways: pulmonary circulation and systemic circulation.

1. Pulmonary circulation: Pulmonary blood circulation usually refers to the venous blood flowing out of the right ventricle, passing through the body's pulmonary artery, alveoli and surrounding capillary network, exchanging gases around the alveoli, and becoming bright red arterial blood. The main feature of pulmonary circulation is the conversion of venous blood into arterial blood with a higher oxygen content through the lungs.

2. Systemic circulation: The body's blood circulation, through the normal contraction of the ventricles, sends many nutrients into the left ventricle along with the blood, and is transmitted to the body's capillaries through the aorta, exchanging substances with gases, spreading the body's nutrients to the body's capillaries, allowing arterial blood to nourish the capillaries throughout the body, and can also quickly excrete waste toxins in the blood.

The body's blood circulation is mainly used to transport substances within the body. It can also transport waste toxins and harmful gases, which can effectively meet the normal functions of various organs. Blood circulation can maintain the body's normal metabolism. Blood circulation can improve the body's microcirculation, enhance the body's metabolic capacity, excrete harmful substances from the body, and enhance the body's immunity and metabolic capacity. You can usually do aerobic exercises such as jogging to speed up the body's blood circulation.
