What is the reason for pain in the instep

What is the reason for pain in the instep

In this extremely busy society, everyone is in a hurry. The thing that people use the most is their feet. A pair of seemingly simple feet can support our majestic bodies so firmly. In fact, it is not that simple. There is an inseparable connection between the specific parts of the feet and the various organs in our body. Then someone asked, "I don't know why my left instep hurts", so I will tell you about it today.

The causes of left instep pain can be divided into two categories: congenital factors and acquired factors. Congenital factors are caused by joints, nerves, muscles, etc. For example: flat feet, genetics, reduced and unbalanced plantar muscle strength, etc., reduce foot function, causing instability and subsequent pain in the left instep. The acquired factors are caused by wearing ill-fitting shoes, usually due to wearing heels that are too high, too pointed, or too narrow, which makes it difficult to fix the heels, causing squeezing, friction, and pressure on the toes and insteps. This not only affects the movement and activity of the toes, but also causes discomfort and pain in the instep, and destroys the function of the original three footholds. When walking, the weight of the whole body falls on the front of the foot, and the toes will gradually deform due to the pressure of the body weight. The pressure on the instep will cause pain in the left instep. For example: popular high heels and witch shoes all accelerate pain.

It is considered that the sciatic nerves in the lower limbs are compressed due to reasons such as lumbar disc herniation. It may also be related to peripheral neuritis, which is often caused by neuropathy. Another problem is poor blood flow. Others are caused by lumbar spine diseases. In general, the following treatment methods can be used: Chinese medicine, nerve nutrition drugs, physical therapy, acupuncture, etc., or combined with external medications for treatment.

From this we can see that the feet are connected to our various organs. If you have pain in your feet, you must see a doctor to find out the cause. It may be that there is a problem with other organs in your body. Be sure to seek timely treatment. Usually, you must wear comfortable shoes and pay attention to your walking posture, which will reduce the risk of falling and injuring the instep.
