What are the common diseases in autumn

I believe everyone knows that autumn is the peak season for illness, and every autumn there are long queues in hospitals. The main reason for this phenomenon is that when the weather suddenly turns cold in autumn, the functions of various organs in the human body cannot be converted immediately, which in turn causes various physical discomforts. Let’s take a look at the common diseases in autumn.

1 Colds are generally divided into common colds and influenza. The common cold, called "cold" in traditional Chinese medicine, is a common respiratory disease caused by a variety of viruses, of which 30%-50% are caused by a certain serotype of rhinovirus.

2 Bacillary dysentery is abbreviated as bacillary dysentery. It is an intestinal infectious disease caused by Shigella (Shigella dysenteriae). The main clinical manifestations include chills, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, tenesmus, and mucus, pus and blood in the stool.

3 The pathogen of epidemic encephalitis B (JE) was discovered in Japan in 1934, hence the name Japanese JE. In 1939, my country also isolated the JE virus. After liberation, a lot of investigation and research work was carried out and the disease was renamed epidemic encephalitis B.

4 Typhoid fever is an acute intestinal infectious disease caused by Salmonella typhi. Typical clinical manifestations include persistent high fever, systemic toxic symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms, relatively bradycardia rosea, hepatosplenomegaly, and leukopenia.

5 Bronchial asthma (abbreviated as asthma) is a chronic airway inflammation involving multiple cells, especially mast cells, eosinophils and T lymphocytes; in susceptible individuals, this inflammation can cause recurrent symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness and/or coughing.

6 Acute enteritis is a common and frequently occurring disease, mostly caused by infection with microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses. Its main symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, etc. In severe cases, it can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, shock, etc.

7 Viral myocarditis refers to infection of the human body with a cardiotropic virus, which causes non-specific interstitial inflammation of the myocardium. The inflammation may be localized or diffuse; the course may be acute, subacute, or chronic.

8 Acute glomerulonephritis is often referred to as acute nephritis. In a broad sense, it refers to a group of glomerular diseases with different causes and pathogenesis, but clinically manifested as acute onset, characterized by hematuria, proteinuria, edema, hypertension and decreased glomerular filtration rate.

9 Chronic pharyngitis, chronic inflammation of the pharyngeal mucosa. The main clinical manifestations are discomfort in the throat, dryness, foreign body sensation or mild pain, dry cough, nausea, dark red congestion in the throat[1], and visible lymphoid follicles on the posterior pharyngeal wall. Patients with chronic pharyngitis often have clearing movements and spit out white sputum due to increased pharyngeal secretions.

10 Malaria is a vector-borne infectious disease caused by Plasmodium parasites transmitted through the bites of Anopheles mosquitoes. The clinical symptoms are periodic chills, fever, headache, sweating, anemia and splenomegaly. The incidence rate is high among children, and the disease mostly occurs in summer and autumn.

11 Autumn diarrhea in infants and young children is an acute enteritis caused by rotavirus. It mainly occurs in infants under 2 years old, especially in infants under 1.5 years old. The course of the disease is generally 4-7 days, and can be as long as 3 weeks. Most cases recover quickly if treated promptly.

From above we know many common diseases in autumn. The sooner we know about it, the sooner we can prevent it. We must exercise regularly. Maintaining good physical fitness is a powerful force to resist various diseases. In autumn, we should add clothes according to the weather and temperature, and do not wear too thin clothes. At the same time, we should take more disease-preventing medicines to reduce the incidence rate in autumn. I hope this helps.
