What to do if you have stomachache?

What to do if you have stomachache?

Stomach pain is actually a situation that everyone will encounter. Of course, dull pain on the left side of the abdomen also happens frequently. Maybe it is because you ate something bad, or there are some other reasons. So what are the reasons that can cause our abdominal pain? Let me introduce them to you below.

Abdominal pain, a disease name in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is one of the common clinical diseases, which can be caused by many reasons. The basic pathogenesis is unfavorable Qi movement of the internal organs, malnutrition of the internal organs, blockage of Qi and blood in the meridians, and pain due to blockage. The differentiation guidelines are cold, heat, deficiency and excess. The disease is located in the abdomen, and the affected organs include the liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, bladder, large and small intestines, etc. Clinically, we should distinguish the severity of cold and heat, the amount of deficiency and excess, and the depth of qi and blood according to different symptoms, and take "unblocking" as the treatment principle. If it is excess, attack it, and if it is deficiency, supplement it. If it is hot, cool it, if it is cold, heat it, and if it is stagnant, unblock it. Depending on the changes in the pathogenesis, we can use both cold and heat, or attack and supplement at the same time, and flexibly prescribe prescriptions and medications.

1. External pathogens

The six external evils invade the abdomen and cause abdominal pain. When wind-cold evil directly attacks the meridians, the cold will stagnate and the qi will stagnate, the meridians will be blocked, and pain will occur if the meridians are blocked. If one is injured by summer heat, or the cold and heat are not resolved, and the depression turns into heat, or the dampness and heat are stagnant, it can cause qi stagnation, visceral qi obstruction and abdominal pain.

2. Improper diet

Overeating, food stagnation, and poor digestion; eating too much fatty, greasy, and spicy food, which causes dampness and heat to accumulate in the stomach and intestines; or eating too much raw and cold food, which causes cold and dampness to stagnate in the body, etc., which damage the middle yang and can damage the spleen and stomach, hinder the flow of visceral qi, and cause abdominal pain. Others include unclean food, intestinal worms, attacks and disturbances, and pain caused by blocked internal organs.

3. Emotional disorders

If emotions are not satisfied, the liver will not function properly and the Qi will not flow smoothly; pain will occur when the Qi is blocked. If Qi stagnates for a long time and blood circulation is blocked, blood stasis will form internally.

So when you have stomach pain but it cannot be solved by some methods, you should go to the hospital immediately. After all, your body is not to be joked about. Many times, we are lazy and cause many problems that do not need to happen. Therefore, physical health is really worthy of everyone's attention.
