Can gastric bleeding be treated?

Can gastric bleeding be treated?

If you often feel stomach pain, bloating and discomfort, you should go to the hospital to check whether you have gastric ulcer or chronic gastritis. Once diagnosed, you must act quickly to receive treatment. Although these diseases are chronic, if not treated they may cause gastric bleeding, which will then become quite troublesome to treat. So, if you accidentally get gastric bleeding, can it be cured completely? What are the good methods?

Gastric bleeding is commonly known as upper gastrointestinal bleeding. More than 40% of it is caused by gastric and duodenal ulcers. People with a history of gastrointestinal diseases such as overwork, irregular daily diet, and abnormal emotional tension are prone to the disease; the second is gastric bleeding caused by acute hemorrhagic gastritis. Most of the gastric bleeding caused by these two reasons can be effectively cured after regular treatment. Another cause of gastric bleeding is liver cirrhosis. Patients with liver cirrhosis generally develop esophageal varices, and massive bleeding will occur when the veins at the fundus of the esophagus rupture.

Gastric Bleeding Treatment

1. Conventional treatment

①The patient should lie flat.

② Those who vomit blood should fast, while those who have simple black stools can eat liquid food.

③ Those with serious conditions should receive oxygen.

④ Place a gastric tube to aspirate the blood in the stomach, understand the bleeding situation, and infuse drugs.

⑤ Strengthen care to prevent vomitus from being inhaled into the respiratory tract and causing pneumonia or suffocation.

⑥ When you feel irritable and restless, you can inject 10 mg of diazepam intramuscularly.

2. Hemostasis treatment methods

Application of hemostatic agents:

① Choose Anluoxue, Hemostatic Min or Hemostatic Aromatic Acid as appropriate and add it to the infusion solution for drip.

② Infuse norepinephrine or thrombin at a concentration of 80 mg/L through the gastric tube.

③ Local hemostasis under gastroscopy can be achieved by spraying hemostatic agents, such as 80 mg/L norepinephrine or thrombin; or injecting hemostatic agents, such as 1-2 mg epinephrine added to 10 ml of 10% saline and injected at multiple points; or high-frequency electrocoagulation hemostasis; or microwave hemostasis; or laser hemostasis.

Whether gastric bleeding can be cured and how long it takes depends on the patient's actual situation, such as physical condition, whether he has bad living and eating habits, etc. It is recommended to go to a regular hospital for treatment and never buy some therapeutic drugs casually in a small clinic. If the condition is serious, surgery should be chosen.
