What are the symptoms of stomach problems?

What are the symptoms of stomach problems? In the eyes of ordinary people, stomach problems are nothing more than nausea and vomiting, and constant stomach pain. Of course, these symptoms are all symptoms of stomach problems, but these symptoms are often only the most basic symptoms. There are also some symptoms of stomach problems that everyone may not understand very well. Let’s talk about what other symptoms there are besides the primary symptoms after suffering from stomach problems.

Early symptoms of stomach problems

The most frustrating thing about stomach problems is that the various symptoms are non-specific. For example, when stomach pain occurs, the disease may be chronic gastritis or gastric ulcer.

1. The stomach feels like it is fermenting, and there is an uneasy and inexplicable feeling. Some people also have symptoms such as belching, nausea, or pain and fullness under the heart. This is caused by irregular diet, being full or hungry, or having a meal but no meal, or drinking alcohol, or eating too much greasy and fried food, which damages the stomach qi and prevents normal digestion and absorption. Over time, it turns into phlegm and stays in the stomach.

2. Sour water rushes up the throat and before you have time to spit it out, you swallow it again, just like swallowing a mouthful of rice vinegar. This is called acid swallowing. Spitting out sour water directly from the mouth is called acid vomiting. In fact, acid reflux and acid vomiting are both caused by excessive stomach acid, so the two are collectively referred to as pantothenic acid here. Pantothenic acid can be divided into cold and hot types, and must be carefully distinguished clinically to avoid misdiagnosis. Those with mild illness can choose to chew raw peanuts, peach kernels or boiled radish slices to help relieve stomach acid.

3. There are symptoms of bloating, that is, the performance of being distended. Mild cases are limited to the stomach while severe cases can cause the entire abdomen to swell and the abdominal skin to become tense. Bloating caused by gastrointestinal diseases is mostly due to gas in the stomach and intestines. The stomach and intestines are inflated because the food in the stomach or intestinal cavity is not completely digested, and the transmission force to the lower end of the digestive tract is weakened or even stopped, causing excess gas or liquid to accumulate in the stomach and intestines and cause expansion.

In fact, non-ulcer dyspepsia is also a type of stomach disease. A small number of patients will have organic lesions, but they are not very serious. However, most doctors often misdiagnose this symptom, thinking that the patient is suffering from chronic gastritis or functional gastric dyspepsia. Therefore, when such symptoms occur, you must check carefully and be vigilant to avoid misdiagnosis.
