What are the ways to check your health?

I believe that everyone is more concerned about whether the body is healthy in life, because only a healthy body can give you a better life, and only a healthy body can help your work. Many people go to the hospital for physical examinations regularly, which is a good phenomenon. But if you don’t have time, it doesn’t matter. Then the editor will introduce several ways to check whether your body is healthy. You can have a simple understanding of your body based on these methods.

1. Body temperature:

The normal body temperature is between 36 and 27 degrees. Anything above this is called fever, and anything below this is called "hypothermia." The latter is common in elderly and frail people and patients with long-term malnutrition, and can also be seen in patients with hypothyroidism and shock diseases.

2. Pulse:

The adult pulse rate is 60 to 100 beats per minute. If it is found to be too fast, too slow, intermittent, or of varying strength, speed, or speed, it is a sign of an unhealthy heart. The heart rate of the elderly is generally slower, but as long as it is not lower than 55 beats per minute, it is within the normal range.

3. Breathing:

A healthy person breathes steadily and regularly, about 15 times per minute. If you find that the depth, frequency, or rhythm of your breathing is abnormal, or if you feel labored, chest tightness, or shortness of breath, these are abnormal conditions and you should seek medical attention.

Elderly people have reduced cardiopulmonary function and may experience palpitations and shortness of breath after activity. If they recover quickly after rest, this should not be considered a sign of disease.

4. Blood Pressure:

The blood pressure of adults should not exceed 140/80 mmHg. The blood pressure of the elderly rises with age, but when the systolic blood pressure exceeds 160 mmHg, medication should be taken regardless of whether there are symptoms or not.

5. Weight:

Long-term stable weight is one of the indicators of health. Weight loss over a short period of time is seen in diabetes, hyperthyroidism, cancer, and stomach, intestinal, and liver diseases. Whether menopausal women are fat or not is often considered a disease. A large amount of weight gain in a short period of time may be related to diseases such as hyperlipidemia, diabetes, and hypothyroidism.

If you find these aspects are normal during your regular physical examination, you don't need to worry too much. At least it means that there is no major problem with your body. However, you must not take it lightly in your daily life. You must take good care of your body so that you can stay healthy at all times. You must pay more attention to your diet and daily life.
