You may have heard of glandular cystitis, which is caused by infection of the urinary tract. Many people do not pay attention to good hygiene habits, drink less water, often eat spicy food and often stay up late, which can lead to glandular cystitis. Mild glandular cystitis can be cured through simple treatment, but severe cases require detailed treatment in the hospital. So how do we know that we have cystitis glandularis? Now let me tell you the specific symptoms of glandular cystitis. 1. Men are more susceptible to glandular cystitis, which is most commonly caused by ascending urethra infection, but can also spread from the kidneys to the bladder. 2. The main clinical manifestations of glandular cystitis are lower urinary tract symptoms such as urgency, frequency, pain when urinating, microscopic hematuria, and dysuria. The clinical symptoms of glandular cystitis are non-specific, and the diagnosis is mainly based on cystoscopy and biopsy. The most common sites are the trigone, bladder neck, and below the internal urethral orifice. 3. Glandular cystitis develops suddenly, and the main symptoms include frequent urination, urgency, pain, hematuria and pyuria. 4. Simple acute cystitis often has no systemic symptoms. If there is fever or back pain, it indicates the complication of pyelonephritis. 5. There is tenderness in the suprapubic bladder area. Patients with pyelonephritis may experience percussion pain in the lower back or costovertebral angle. 6. Recurrent and intractable urinary frequency, urgency, pain, hematuria, discomfort in the suprapubic area and perineum, feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, urinary incontinence, pain during sexual intercourse, etc. The most common sites of the lesions are the bladder trigone, bladder neck, and around the ureteral orifice, with the lesions being most common at 3 to 9 o'clock on the neck. The clinical manifestations of glandular cystitis are closely related to the location of the lesion: lesions located in the trigone mainly show bladder irritation symptoms; lesions located in the bladder neck often have difficulty urinating, lower abdominal discomfort, and severe cases have symptoms of dysuria; lesions involving the ureteral opening may cause ureteral dilatation, hydronephrosis and other lumbar discomfort symptoms; patients with a wider range of lesions often have hematuria; patients with bladder stones may have symptoms such as interrupted urine flow. Knowing the symptoms of cystitis glandularis will make it easier for us to find the right method to treat cystitis glandularis. First of all, we must ensure that we have good hygiene habits. At the same time, we should also know to eat more diuretic foods and avoid eating sour, spicy and irritating foods. Finally, serious patients should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible. |
