1. For patients with a short course of illness and the initial appearance of white spots, 9 kinds of medicines can generally be decocted together for treatment, namely duckweed, saposhnikovia divaricata, angelica sinensis, angelica dahurica, peucedanum chinense, bupleurum, gentiana macrophylla, Polygonum multiflorum, and Tribulus terrestris. The first seven medicines are 9 grams each, and the last two medicines are 30 grams each. Patients take 1 dose twice a day.

2. For patients with a long course of illness and localized white spots, 8 kinds of medicines can generally be decocted together for treatment, namely, 12 grams each of raw and cooked rehmannia, Astragalus membranaceus, Morus alba, and Psoralea corylifolia, 6 grams each of safflower and Lithospermum officinale, and 12 grams each of black sesame and Polygonum multiflorum. Patients take 1 dose twice a day.

Western medicine treatment

In addition to the above-mentioned traditional Chinese medicines for the treatment of vitiligo, patients can also use Western medicines for treatment.

1. Vitamins. Vitamins B, C, and P, taken in large doses for a long time.

2.Copper sulfate solution (0.5%).

3. Baidianling ointment. After the patient cleans the affected area, apply it 2-3 times a day. After half a year, the patient's condition will show improvement.

4. White spot ointment No. 2. The patient cleans the affected area or applies it 2-3 times a day.

5. Beclomethasone propionate ointment. Apply externally to the affected area, 2-3 times a day.

White spots on the skin can be treated. Patients must eat some soy products in moderation. Soy products can replenish the body's melanin and are very beneficial to the patient's condition. When treating vitiligo, patients need to be careful not to take hormone drugs for treatment. This is very important.
