Clinical manifestations of schizophrenia

Clinical manifestations of schizophrenia

I believe that many people have heard of cases of schizophrenia to some extent. Schizophrenia, as a more serious mental illness, can cause serious harm to the lives of patients. Schizophrenia is difficult to observe directly in daily interactions with people, because the main symptom of schizophrenia is that the patient has two or more personalities. In summary, after the onset of schizophrenia, there are mainly the following symptoms.

1. Broken thinking

It means that the patient has no focus when thinking about a problem, there is a lack of connection between the first thought and the second thought, and when speaking, his words are incoherent, upside down, and have no beginning or end, and are not organized. Sometimes speech stops suddenly. Some patients have no focus when they speak, and others cannot understand what they are trying to say (the same is true when they write articles, which others cannot understand). Some patients screamed all day long, while others talked to themselves in the air.

2. Emotional disorders

Becoming distant, cold, or even hostile to relatives. He becomes indifferent and unconcerned about everything, sits in boredom all day, and lets his mind wander. His life becomes sloppy, his clothes become very dirty, but he still thinks they are clean. His emotions are fickle. A trivial matter can make him suddenly furious, while sometimes he can be indifferent to a big thing.

3. Hallucinations and delusions

The hallucination center is mostly auditory hallucination. For example, the patient may hear someone talking to him in the air or on the roof, or hear some people talking about him. The patient's behavior is often influenced by hallucinations, and he may even obey the orders of the hallucinations and perform some dangerous actions. For example, when he hears "someone ordering him to break the glass window and escape", he will do it without thinking and regardless of the danger.

In fact, as long as we pay more attention to observation, we will find that we can understand and recognize schizophrenia through many ways. We must strengthen our learning, understand how to prevent this disease, and know what to do first after the disease occurs. This is very important for our physical health.
