Environmental conditions for mold growth

Mold infection is a very common phenomenon in normal times. Generally speaking, mold is caused by fungal infection. Mold infection usually requires a certain growth environment to lead to mold growth. The growth of mold has relatively low requirements for humidity. Mold infection also requires sufficient nutrition supply so that the mold can reproduce rapidly and affect human health. Mold infection must be treated in time.

Environmental conditions for mold growth

1First of all, mold can be divided into many different types, but the growth environment of many molds is the same. Normally, mold will appear in a place with humid and suitable humidity.

Secondly, temperature has an important influence on the reproduction and toxin production of mold. Different types of mold have different optimum temperatures. The most suitable temperature for the reproduction of most molds is 25-30℃. Below 0℃ or above 30℃, they cannot produce toxins or their toxin production will be weakened. For example, the minimum reproduction temperature range of Aspergillus flavus is 6-8℃, the maximum reproduction temperature is 44-46℃, and the optimal growth temperature is around 37℃. However, the temperature for toxin production is different, which is slightly lower than the optimum temperature for growth. For example, the optimum temperature for toxin production of Aspergillus flavus is 28-32℃.

Finally, different types of mold have different growth and reproduction rates and toxin-producing abilities. The most toxic mycotoxins include aflatoxins, ochratoxins, chloroviridin, rubrocilin and penicillic acid. There are currently five toxins known to cause cancer in animals, namely, aconitine (B1, G1, M1), chlorothalonil, chlortetracycline, stericocyanine and patulin.

Mild vaginal candidal infection in pregnant women will not affect the fetus

If the pregnant mother only has mild candidal vaginitis, it will not cause any harm to the fetus. At this time, pregnant women can use an appropriate amount of salt water to clean the vulva every day, and try to keep the vulva dry and clean. Underwear should be changed and washed every day, and underwear should be washed by hand. It should not be put into the washing machine with other clothes. In addition, you need to take your husband to check whether he has this disease so as to better avoid infection.

1. Failure to treat in time will affect the fetus

If the pregnant mother's candidal vaginitis is more serious, she must go to the hospital for treatment in time, so as to effectively control the disease and prevent infection to the baby. However, if the pregnant woman is not treated in time, it may affect the pregnancy, cause premature rupture of membranes, premature birth, etc., and is likely to cause fetal infection. After the fetus is infected, erythematous rashes will appear on the skin and yellow pinpoint spots will appear on the umbilical cord. If the fetus is delivered vaginally, 2/3 of the newborns will develop thrush and red buttocks, so active treatment is necessary. In addition, in a very small number of people, the Candida albicans in the vagina can ascend through the cervix, penetrate the fetal membrane, infect the fetus, and cause premature birth.

2. Abuse of drug treatment can affect the fetus

Currently, traditional treatments are mostly based on drug therapy, but if pregnant women abuse antibiotics, large amounts of antibiotics may cause fetal malformations, asthma, eczema, etc. Moreover, the use of medications in the early, middle and late stages of pregnancy should be different. Some drugs have an impact on the development of the fetus, so they must be used under the guidance of a doctor and must not be used at will. In addition, there are many varieties of external washes on the market. For pregnant women, they can wash the vulva, but not the vagina, because this can easily affect the fetus.
