Nowadays, melanoma is a relatively serious disease, so many friends are quite panicked about its occurrence. Moreover, the occurrence of this type of disease is not easy to detect. Generally, when patients discover it, they have missed the best time to treat the disease, and it is not easy to treat at this time. Patients must have some understanding of its symptoms. So, what are the early symptoms of subungual melanoma? The clinical symptoms of malignant melanoma of the skin include bleeding, itching, tenderness, ulcers, etc. Generally speaking, the symptoms of melanoma are related to the age of onset. Young patients generally show itching, color changes and enlarged boundaries of the lesions, while elderly patients generally show ulcers on the lesions, which usually indicates a poor prognosis. The lesions of cutaneous malignant melanoma are related to the anatomical site and growth pattern of the tumor, that is, the histological type, which varies greatly depending on age, type, and race. Different types of melanoma have different causes and genetic backgrounds. The current clinical histological classification of melanoma adopts Clark's classification, which includes four types: lentigo maligna melanoma (LMM); superficial spreading melanoma; acral lentigo melanoma/mucosal melanoma; and nodular melanoma (NM). Among Caucasians with malignant melanoma, approximately 70% are SSM. However, among all malignant melanomas in Asians, ALM occurs in areas less exposed to sunlight, accounting for 72%. Depends on the stage at diagnosis. Melanoma that is localized and has no lymph node or distant metastasis has a better prognosis. The survival rate of women in stage I/II is higher than that of men. Primary melanomas in the trunk, head and neck are worse than those in the limbs. Advanced age is inversely proportional to the survival rate of melanoma. Stage III melanoma has a significantly different prognosis: a large number of ulcers and lymph node metastases indicates a poor prognosis. An important prognostic factor for stage IV melanoma is the location of distant metastasis. Visceral metastasis has a worse prognosis than non-visceral (skin and distal lymph nodes) metastasis. Through the introduction above, I believe that friends should have some understanding of its symptoms. Usually, do not expose yourself to the sun for a long time. Frequent exposure to the sun will not only have a great impact on our skin, but also create certain conditions for the occurrence of melanoma. You must pay more attention to it. |
