1. Mindfulness regimen

It includes the following points:

Lao Tzu and Zhuangzi, famous thinkers in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period in my country, were the initiators of the mind-health method. They clearly put forward the idea of ​​"being simple and honest, and having few selfish desires", which means that one should be simple in character, not be too selfish, and have too many desires. It is difficult to be selfless and desireless in life, but selfish desires should not be too excessive or too high. Only by controlling your desires through self-restraint and eliminating those greeds that can never be satisfied can you reduce your mental stress and pain. The most important thing in life is to maintain mental and physical health, and to learn to self-regulate, self-limit, and self-eliminate selfish desires in your own inner world. Only those who have few selfish desires and no greed can be indifferent to fame and fortune, be open-minded and have a cheerful personality. This will help to clear the mind and maintain a good mental state. Being tranquil and indifferent, and not competing with the world, one will naturally have a focused spirit, harmonious yin and yang, vigorous qi and blood, no place for evil, and will be free from all diseases.

(3) Be open-minded

It means having a cheerful personality, a broad mind and a big heart. According to the results of a survey on centenarians over 90 years old in my country, the main reason for longevity is not material but spiritual. The reason why centenarians can live long is related to their open-mindedness, cheerful personality, contentment, the ability to eat and dress as they please, and a non-contentious and easy-going mental state.

In order to make yourself open-minded, an important method is to "step out of your own small world and integrate into nature." In other words, don't always confine yourself to the small world of your family. Actively go out, enjoy the gifts that nature has given us, and feel the fun of nature. Butterflies flying on flowers, insects in the grass, birds singing on branches, fish swimming in the water and small animals in the mountains and fields can all make people feel the joy of life, give people a sense of transcendence and elegance, and are conducive to open-mindedness and cheerful personality. Just imagine, a person who looks up at the sea of ​​clouds of Mount Huangshan, gazes at the waves of the blue sea, has green pines and cypresses as companions, and has idle clouds and wild cranes as friends, is it possible that he would still be troubled by the gains and losses of trivial matters in daily life?

Mental health care is like quitting smoking, it is the easiest and the most difficult to do. It is said to be the easiest to do because spiritual health can be completely controlled by one's own subjective consciousness and does not require any special external support or help. It is said to be the most difficult to do, but it is also very important to remain calm and composed, and not be too impetuous. This is the most important point.
