How to wash paint off clothes

There are many other types, such as some solvent-based paints, and some paints are made from natural plant ingredients. Especially if it gets on clothes, the cleaning method is different. For example, if solvent-based paint gets on clothes, people usually use kerosene or gasoline, which can dissolve paint, to wash it off. If the paint is made from plant ingredients, you can use soap or perfumed soap directly to clean it. Here is how to clean paint.

First identify what kind of paint it is. If it is ordinary water-soluble paint, you can directly use water to remove it. If the clothes are more valuable, avoid affecting the texture. If it is stained with non-water-soluble paint, you can use mosquito repellent cooling oil directly to the painted area. After a few minutes, use a cotton ball to wipe along the grain of the clothes. You will get the ideal effect and then wash it with clean water. If the paint is stained on nylon fabric, it is recommended to scrub it with lard and then wash it with laundry detergent.

Here is a reminder that alcohol can only wash away water-based paint. To remove paint, you still need to use solvents such as gasoline, thinner, xylene, cyclohexanone, and butyl ester. If you accidentally get stained with latex paint and leave a mark, you can take advantage of its ability to be dissolved in a variety of solutions. We use its own characteristics to find a way to remove it. You can use 60℃ white wine or a mixture of 8:2 alcohol (95%) and water to soak the white latex stains on clothes. After soaking for about half an hour, you can rub them with water until they are clean, and finally rinse them with clean water.

Paint looks ugly when it gets on clothes, so be sure to remove it immediately before the paint dries. If the paint has already dried, it will be very troublesome to clean. When we buy paint, it is best to buy some environmentally friendly paint. This type of paint often contains a lot of plant ingredients. Even if it gets on clothes or skin, it will not have a corrosive effect and is easier to clean.
