What to do if you get stung by a bee

What to do if you get stung by a bee

Many people like to eat honey, especially real honey, which is more expensive. As we all know, honey is collected by bees. Beekeepers are easily hurt when collecting honey and are easily stung by bees. Generally speaking, bee stings will cause redness and swelling, itching and pain in the wound, and severe cases will threaten life safety. Therefore, the symptoms of bee stings also vary in severity, and appropriate treatment should be done. So what should be done if a bee stings?

1. When stung by a bee, the local skin will feel pain and itching, accompanied by allergic irritation and local inflammatory reactions such as redness, swelling and heat. If a bee stinger gets into your skin, be sure to remove it.

2. Apply ice to the sting to relieve pain and swelling. If the pain is severe, you can take some painkillers.

3. If there is a tendency to spread, there may be an allergic reaction. You can take some anti-allergic drugs, such as diphenhydramine, promethazine and other anti-allergic drugs.

4. Observe closely for about half an hour. If you find that the person has difficulty breathing, his breathing becomes rough, or he has a wheezing sound, immediately send him to the nearest hospital for emergency treatment. Get some alkaline powder (edible alkali will do), wet it and apply it to the stung area. This method is simple but very effective.

If you are stung by a bee in the wild, if you don't have alkali, you can find a bush called "Jing" (there are many such plants in the wild), crush its leaves (if you don't have tools, use stones) and apply them to the stung area.

However, if the situation is too serious, for example, if you are stung severely by a large group of bees, you should go to the hospital. There is a kind of bee in the wild called the bumblebee, which is as long as a thumb and very fat. Not to mention humans, it can also sting cows to death. There is also a kind of wasp that is very powerful.

Summarize the treatment method:

(1) Don't be nervous, stay calm.

(2) If a poisonous stinger has penetrated the skin, remove the stinger first.

(3) Use soapy water, 3% ammonia water, 5-10% sodium bicarbonate water, saline solution, or sugar water to wash the wound.

(4) Apply fresh human milk to the wound several times a day.

(5) Mash Yulu powder or chrysanthemum leaves and apply on the affected area.

(6) If you are stung by a wasp, wash it with vinegar or fresh purslane and squeeze out the juice to apply to the affected area.

(7) Crush garlic or ginger to extract juice and apply it to the affected area.

(8) Choose fresh dandelions, violet yedoensis, seven-leaf clematis, lobelia, etc., wash and mash them, and apply them around the wound. The effect is good.

(9) Apply a circle of dissolved Nantong snake medicine tablets about 2 cm away from the puncture wound. It has the effects of detoxification, pain relief and swelling reduction.

(10) Apply cucumber juice to the affected area several times a day to relieve pain and reduce swelling.

(11) Wash and mash 30 grams of leeks into a paste and apply it to the affected area.

What should you do if you are stung by a bee? The patient should take treatment first, clean the affected area, remove the stinger after cleaning, and then apply medicine. However, it should be noted that the treatment of a single bee sting is the same as that of multiple bee stings, but care should be strengthened. In addition, the symptoms and hazards of bee stings vary depending on the type of bee. It is recommended that patients first determine the severity of the disease and then choose a treatment plan to avoid accidents after being stung by a bee.
