How to effectively remove scars from sutured wounds

There are many types of wounds. Many serious wounds need to be sutured with needles, and the scars from sutured wounds are relatively serious. Many people do not know how to remove scars from sutured wounds. In this case, you must pay attention to wound care, and you can also take medical measures to remove scars.

1. Cannot be completely eliminated

Generally, stitching with a needle will injure the dermis, so scars will be left. The stable period of scars is 3-6 months. During this period, you can use scar patches to assist in treatment to prevent and treat scar hyperplasia. If you feel that the scars are still very obvious, you can go to a regular hospital for scar treatment. In addition, once scars are left, it is impossible to completely remove them with the current medical level, and they can only be diluted.

2. Aloe vera gel to relieve

If it is a sutured incision, the scab will fall off and leave a suture track, which is not easy to remove because long-term pigmentation and stretching will deepen the color of the wound. It is recommended that you pay attention to rest and go to the plastic surgery department of the hospital for consultation to see if it can be effectively removed. In addition, you can apply aloe vera gel on the wound to alleviate the color of the wound.

3. Other treatments

In the early stages of healing of facial wounds, local injection of adrenal cortex hormone can also inhibit scar formation. Scars on the hands and other joints should undergo rehabilitation exercises under the guidance of a physical therapist, which can also help soften scars and avoid joint stiffness. The less irritation to the wound, the better. Including treating wounds, cleaning wound surfaces, scabs, and itching, do not touch them (of course the wound must be cleaned). Because stimulation can induce wound proliferation during healing, scars are formed. If you don’t have naturally scar-prone skin, it is recommended that you do not apply any ointment on the wound, as this will not only irritate it but may also cause infection. The skin has the ability to repair memory. Wait until it heals and when it actually bulges out of the surface, then take action. Also, be careful not to eat anything that is hot and toxic, such as eggs, shrimp, crab, etc. You can't eat raw fish, because eating raw fish on a wound will make the flesh grow. You can't eat soy sauce, because eating it will darken the color of the wound, which will make the scar more obvious.
