How to clean oil stains on clothes more cleanly?

It is easy to accidentally get some oil stains on clothes, and these greases are difficult to wash off, so if you want to remove oil stains on clothes, you should also pay attention to some methods. If it is animal oil stains, you can apply toothpaste to the stained area and rub it to clean it.

1. Animal and plant oil stains

If clothes are stained with animal or plant oils, you can apply toothpaste on the stain, rub it gently a few times, and then wash it with water, and the oil stain can be removed.

Tips: This method can also be used on clothes with ballpoint pen stains.

2. Paint

When paint is rubbed on clothes, you can immediately apply white flower oil to the rubbed area and then rinse it off.

3. Tea and coffee stains

If your clothes are stained with tea or coffee, rub them with hot water immediately to remove the stains. For those that have been there for a long time, you must rub them with a mixture of glycerin and egg yolk, then rinse them with clean water after they are dry; or apply glycerin to the stain, sprinkle a little borax, and then soak it in boiling water.

4. Vegetable Soup Stains

When clothes are stained with soup, you must immediately soak the clothes in cold water for a few minutes, then rub soap on the stain and scrub it. If it is an old stain, use an old toothbrush dipped in gasoline to rub the stained area to remove the grease first, then soak the stain in 1:5 ammonia solution and rub it.

5. Chewing gum stains

First put the clothes stained with chewing gum into a plastic bag and freeze them in the refrigerator for a few hours. After the chewing gum on the clothes becomes hard, take it out and gently rub it to remove it. If there is still a little bit that cannot be removed, use cotton dipped in white vinegar and gently scrub the area to remove it.

6. Blood stains

When blood stains are newly found on clothes, rinse them with cold water or light salt water, then wash with soap or 10% potassium iodide solution; white radish juice or carrot puree mixed with salt can also remove blood stains from clothes;

Tips: Do not use hot water when rinsing, because blood stains contain protein, which will coagulate when exposed to heat, making it difficult to clean.

7. Vinegar and soy sauce stains

For stains of vinegar, soy sauce, etc. on clothes, you can take fresh lotus root, squeeze out the lotus root juice and rub it, then wash with clean water to remove the oil stains.
