What is the reason for white discharge from the urethra?

If there is white secretion from the urethra, you must not take it lightly, because this phenomenon of white urine may be caused by prostatitis, and prostatitis can manifest as chronic prostatitis and acute prostatitis, so you must pay attention to distinguish the correct treatment.

1. This phenomenon is white urine dripping. During defecation or at the end of urination, white secretions often drip out of the urethra, commonly known as "white urine dripping". This condition is most likely prostatitis. Patients with prostatitis occasionally find that the external opening of the urethra is stuck with secretions when they wake up in the morning. White urine may be a symptom of prostatitis. White drops in urine may be caused by prostatitis. Clinically, prostatitis can be divided into acute and chronic types.

2. Chronic prostatitis: the main symptoms are frequent urination, a feeling of incomplete urination, and burning and itching in the urethra. The pain is often distending and cramping, radiating to the glans penis and perineum, and accompanied by discomfort above the pubic bone and lumbosacral region. Patients often have prostatic discharge, which often occurs at the end of urination or when straining during bowel movements, with white secretions flowing out of the urethra.

3. Acute prostatitis: the main symptoms are distension and discomfort in the perineum and obvious dull pain in the lower abdomen, which may radiate to the lumbar sacral region, penis and thigh roots. If it is caused by a urinary tract infection, symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain when urinating, or hematuria may occur. The onset is rapid and may be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever, chills, anorexia, and fatigue. Examination of peripheral blood leukocytes showed an increase in white blood cells and a large number of white blood cells were seen in the urine. Rectal examination can feel the enlarged prostate, which is obviously tender and may have a sense of fluctuation when an abscess is formed. If the condition is serious, it is recommended that the patient go to a regular hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible to avoid delaying the condition and inducing other diseases.

4. Prostatitis is a relatively common urinary system disease. Many men suffer from this disease. Although everyone knows about prostatitis, they do not know much about the symptoms of prostatitis. This leads to many patients being unable to detect the disease in the early stages and receive treatment.
