What is the reason for the black and purple nail on the big toe? It turns out to be like this

What causes the black and purple nail on the big toe? This problem has been bothering people. In fact, the black and purple toenails on the big toes are related to many reasons, and onychomycosis is one of these reasons, which seriously affects people's lives and work. Therefore, when people have black and purple toenails on their big toes, they must not ignore it.

Causes of black and purple nails on big toes

1. Onychomycosis: Don’t think that all onychomycosis is gray. In fact, some are black. It manifests as thickening of the nails or hollow white powder under the nails. Oral antifungal drugs can be used for treatment, but the risk is relatively high. The best way is to use a packing treatment.

2. Subungual bruises: Subungual bruises are common and are often caused by squeezing or collisions. Bruise under the toenails is sometimes caused by wearing high heels, standing or walking too much. This condition usually doesn’t need to be taken care of and will naturally improve after a few months.

3. Nail matrix nevus: This type is also not uncommon; it often appears as a bundle of lines from the nail root to the nail tip; it is generally harmless to the human body; sometimes it develops into nail pigmentoma;

4. For the nail matrix nevus, it should be closely observed. If it is found to be enlarged or bleeding, it is considered to be a nail pigment tumor. You should go to the hospital to remove the nail in time, surgically remove the subungual tumor and do a pathological examination;

5. It indicates respiratory problems. In fact, it is blue (looks black). This type of person is prone to cardiovascular disease.

6 It should be noted that there are no nerves or blood vessels in the nail plate, so it will not bleed. The so-called subungual bleeding is actually bleeding under the nail.

7 No matter what type of nails turn black, it is beneficial to supplement with vitamins, such as Gold Vitamin.

2. Folk remedies for treating onychomycosis

1. Garlic. Take fresh garlic, wash it and mash it into a paste. Then apply it on the nails and surrounding skin of clean hands. Wait for 10 minutes before removing it. Do this three times a day.

2. Impatiens. Impatiens also has the effect of treating onychomycosis. Take an appropriate amount of Impatiens, mash it, apply it on the nails, wrap it with clean gauze, and change it once a day.

3. Garlic and alum. Take purple garlic, wash and mash it, add some alum, apply it on the onychomycosis, wrap it with a clean cloth, or you can use plastic cloth, so that it is permeable and sealed, and change it every day.

4. Garlic and vinegar. Take appropriate amounts of garlic and aged vinegar, mash the garlic and put it in the vinegar, soak for a week, then soak the onychomycosis in the garlic vinegar liquid for 3 to 5 minutes, 4 to 6 times a day, until cured.

5. White vinegar. White vinegar has a good bactericidal and disinfecting effect and can be used to treat onychomycosis. After washing our hands, soak them directly in vinegar for 10 minutes. The vinegar should cover the nails. Do this once in the morning and once in the evening.

6. Take 500 ml of aged vinegar, boil and concentrate it to 150 ml, then add clean peppercorns (20 grams) and Sophora flavescens (50 grams), and soak for a week. After softening the onychomycosis with hot water, scrape the diseased part of the nail and then use a cotton ball to dip some medicine to soak the onychomycosis for about 5-10 minutes. Use it before going to bed every day until it is healed.
