After cooling, soak the sea cucumbers in cold water again, and change the water every eight hours or so; check the sea cucumbers at any time, take out the already swollen sea cucumbers, and place them in a container with a lid. The water in the container should cover the sea cucumbers, and place it in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Change the water every day and take it out as needed. 7. Upon inspection, if the sea cucumber is still a little hard when pinched, you can boil it again, remove it from the heat and simmer it for 8 hours, then change the water, and then continue to change the water every 8 hours until the water is fully swollen. Generally, it takes two to three days for the sea cucumber to be fully soaked. 2. How to eat The main thing is to soak the salted dried ginseng, then you can stir-fry, stew or mix it. The most troublesome part is soaking, which directly affects the taste. There are three main methods for swelling dried sea cucumbers: ① semi-oil swelling; ② pure water swelling; ③ evaporation. Regardless of which method is used, the container and water used in the swelling process must be free of oil and salt.
