A common disease that has affected our bodies in recent years is fatty liver. However, many people have no symptoms of fatty liver. This is the common mild fatty liver. If it is moderate or severe, symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, and loss of appetite will appear.

1. Symptoms

Mild fatty liver may not have any clinical symptoms, especially those caused by overeating or high-fat diet in the elderly, which is clinically called "hidden fatty liver". Moderate or severe patients, especially those with a long course of disease, have more obvious symptoms. Common symptoms Symptomatic patients mostly show fatigue, loss of appetite, right hypochondrium pain, nausea, abdominal distension and other symptoms of liver dysfunction, which may be accompanied by abdominal pain, mainly right upper abdominal pain, occasionally middle upper abdominal pain, accompanied by tenderness, rebound pain in severe cases, fever, increased white blood cell count, similar to the performance of acute abdomen, need to be treated in time. This manifestation is rare. During surgery, the liver capsule is stretched and the liver ligaments are involved. The patient's pain is caused by the stretching of the liver capsule, the traction of the liver ligaments, rupture and inflammation of the fat cyst, etc. Severe fatty liver may be combined with portal hypertension and gastrointestinal bleeding. At the same time, due to vitamin deficiency, it may also be accompanied by anemia, glossitis, peripheral neuritis and neurological symptoms. There may be ascites and lower limb edema. Others may include spider nevi, male breast development, testicular atrophy, impotence, amenorrhea and infertility in women.

2. Physical signs

64% of the patients are overweight or obese, 15% suffer from liver enlargement, and may experience percussion tenderness in the liver area, splenomegaly, spider nevi and liver palms on the skin.

3. Dietary considerations for patients with fatty liver
