Treatment of seborrheic alopecia areata, external treatment is the most common

Treatment of seborrheic alopecia areata, external treatment is the most common

Alopecia areata is a sudden hair loss phenomenon that can occur at any age. In many cases, it will improve on its own, but seborrheic alopecia areata still needs timely treatment. It can be treated with topical medications. You should also relax appropriately and maintain a good attitude.

1. There are many types of alopecia clinically, including premature baldness (alopecia vulgaris, familial alopecia and male pattern baldness), congenital alopecia, toxic and physiological alopecia (telogen baldness, anagen baldness), diffuse alopecia caused by endocrine (alopecia areata, traumatic alopecia, mucinous alopecia, lipedema alopecia, scarring alopecia, pseudoalopecia areata, folliculitis alopecia, patchy alopecia), etc.

2. Among these many types, only alopecia areata and seborrheic alopecia including premature alopecia can be treated with external therapy. There are many causes of these two types of baldness, so even if external treatments can be used, internal causes must be treated in order to be truly effective.

3. External treatments include physical therapy such as local massage, ultraviolet irradiation, audio electrotherapy, and resonance spark therapy; applying medicines to the affected area such as fresh ginger, raw pinellia mixed with vinegar, psoralea corylifolia tincture, chelidonium tincture, pepper tincture, mustard tincture, compound lei suo xin liquid, and seborrheic wash recipes. The principles of external treatment are to stimulate skin congestion, improve blood circulation, and promote hair growth.

4. For other types of alopecia, such as congenital alopecia, pseudo-alopecia, cicatricial alopecia, and traumatic alopecia, in which the vascular network around the hair follicles disappears and the hair follicles undergo irreversible atrophy or disappearance, external treatment is ineffective. For common alopecia among premature baldness, familial alopecia, and male pattern baldness, which are related to excessive male hormones, the most taboo thing is to rub and stimulate the affected area with drugs. The use of external treatment can only aggravate the development of the disease.
