What's wrong with my eyes hurting, headache and nausea?

Eye pain, headache and nausea are common clinical symptoms. Many people don’t know what is going on when eye pain, headache and nausea occur at the same time. These symptoms are generally caused by disease. If the patient is older, glaucoma may be the cause.

1. Eye pain, accompanied by headache and nausea are usually symptoms of glaucoma, and there should also be symptoms of blurred vision. If you have the above symptoms, you should go to the ophthalmologist for a check-up in time. First do a basic check to see what the intraocular pressure is: the normal range is between 10--21mmHG, and more than 21 is high intraocular pressure. If there is damage to vision and visual function, it is glaucoma. Lower the intraocular pressure first, and if it doesn't work, you will have to have surgery. If the treatment is not timely, you may become blind. The damage to vision caused by glaucoma is irreversible. You must pay attention to it. Elderly people usually have cataracts or swelling of the lens, which will make the anterior chamber shallower, causing high intraocular pressure and leading to an acute attack of glaucoma. It is likely to be acute angle-closure glaucoma.

2. Headache is a common clinical symptom. Headache can also be a symptom of neck disease, shoulder disease and back disease, or it can be a manifestation of systemic disease in the head. Common causes may be related to the toxin effects after microbial infection, drugs or food, excessive fatigue, vascular neurosis headache and other factors. It is recommended to observe and it is best to go to the hospital for examination and treatment.

3. Eye pain and eye socket pain are caused by looking at mobile phones and computers too much and overusing the eyes. Headaches and nausea are most likely caused by problems with the cervical spine. The deformation of the cervical spine compresses the blood vessels, leading to insufficient blood supply to the brain, causing headaches, dizziness, and nausea.
